What GP antenatal care includes here
Early pregnancy confirmation, routine antenatal reviews within primary-care scope, blood tests when indicated, and ultrasound including 2D through 6D options for bonding scans when clinically appropriate. High-risk pregnancies are referred to specialist O&G — we do not pretend to be a delivery centre.
Bring your antenatal book / previous scan reports. First-trimester spotting, severe vomiting, or reduced fetal movements need prompt assessment — and sometimes hospital care, not a delayed walk-in.
Other women’s health visits include menstrual concerns, contraception counselling, urine infections, and general GP care around pregnancy planning.
