HPV Vaccine Clinic in Johor Bahru

Klinik Vaksin HPV

Klinik Muhibbah provides HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccination for females and males to protect against HPV strains that cause cervical cancer, genital warts, and other HPV-related cancers. The HPV vaccine is most effective when given before exposure to the virus — ideally in early adolescence — but provides significant protection in young adults too. We offer counselling on HPV vaccination and can administer or arrange referral for vaccination at our Masai clinic in Johor Bahru.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who should get the HPV vaccine in Malaysia?
HPV vaccination is recommended for girls and boys aged 9-14 (most effective before sexual debut), young women up to age 26, and on a case-by-case basis for women up to age 45. Males benefit from protection against genital warts and HPV-related cancers. Our doctors will advise on whether you or your child is a suitable candidate.
Is the HPV vaccine available at Klinik Muhibbah in Johor Bahru?
Yes, HPV vaccination counselling and administration is available at Klinik Muhibbah, Masai. Please call for current vaccine availability and pricing. The 9-valent HPV vaccine (protecting against 9 HPV strains including those causing cervical cancer and genital warts) is the current standard of care.
Does HPV vaccination eliminate the need for Pap smears?
No. Even vaccinated women should continue regular Pap smear screening as the vaccine does not protect against all HPV strains. Pap smear screening every 3 years from age 25 remains important for vaccinated women. Klinik Muhibbah provides walk-in Pap smear services for cervical cancer screening alongside HPV vaccination.
