Klinik Balutan & Penjagaan Luka

Klinik Muhibbah provides professional wound dressing and ongoing wound care for post-surgical wounds, diabetic foot ulcers, infected wounds, burns, and chronic non-healing wounds. How to Prepare

📝

Walk in directly for wound dressing. Keep the existing dressing intact until you arrive at the clinic — do not remove it at home. If the wound is producing significant discharge or you notice spreading redness, warmth, or fever, seek attention promptly as these may indicate infection. Bring any discharge summary or wound care instructions from the hospital if this is a post-operative wound.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often do I need to come for wound dressing changes?
Dressing change frequency depends on the wound type and stage of healing. Fresh post-surgical wounds typically need dressing every 2–3 days. Infected wounds may need daily dressing. Diabetic foot ulcers require frequent monitoring. Our doctor will specify your dressing schedule and review it at each visit based on healing progress.
Can Klinik Muhibbah manage diabetic foot wounds?
Yes, we provide wound care for diabetic foot ulcers including assessment of wound depth and infection, appropriate dressing, blood glucose optimisation advice, and antibiotic treatment if infected. We monitor healing closely and arrange urgent referral to a vascular surgeon or podiatrist if the wound is not responding or if circulation is compromised.
Is wound dressing available as a walk-in at Klinik Muhibbah?
Yes, walk-in dressing changes are available at Klinik Muhibbah, Masai. No appointment is needed. For regular patients on a dressing programme, we keep wound care notes at the clinic so continuity of care is maintained across visits. Please call for current dressing fees which vary based on wound complexity and dressing materials used.
